For John Cal, creating music has been a lifelong journey and passion.

As a teenage musician and vocalist, “Top Forty” radio became his inspiration and template. Playing in various bands throughout high school and college, John honed his technical skills and developed a deep understanding of composition, musical structure and harmony.

Today, John Cal’s song catalog is varied and extensive, bridging musical styles and generational tastes. His lyrics are genuine and speak to and for the feelings of many.  His melodies are contagious and hard to forget.

Alongside his musical endeavors, John's communication and creative writing skills were critical components of his both his artistic and professional career as VP of several fortune 500 companies and have been continually advanced through his years of research and study.
